McLagan works with a number of the industry's leading equipment leasing and finance organizations in a variety of advisory capacities. We advise bank, independent and captive leasing and finance firms on incentive plan design for functions across the business.
We also work with firms on creating custom market compensation benchmarks using data from the annual ELFA-sponsored compensation survey. In addition to plan design and custom compensation benchmarking, we help firms review their current incentive plans with a focus on market competitiveness and the inclusion of thoughtful and actionable risk metrics. McLagan also speaks annually at the ELFA Human Capital Roundtable and at the ELFA Annual Convention.
While much attention is appropriately focused on the "how much" question in compensation studies, there is great value in understanding how pay is delivered, when it is to be delivered, and dozens of other policy and market practice questions. We run an annual Equipment Leasing & Finance Incentive Plan Study that covers the following:

- Annual Incentive Plan Design & Funding (e.g. plan type, risk metrics, performance measures)

We answer the question of how much firms pay for different levels of production through the Equipment Leasing & Finance Productivity Study. The study reports compensation levels across the varying levels of originator production and details pay vs. performance in the equipment leasing & finance industry.
